Last month, we welcomed a new employee to recruitAbility! Nicole Selindh is a technical recruiter and graduate of Texas State University.

Describe your role at recruitAbility? Why did you want to get into technical recruiting?
I source and find prime tech candidates for our clients. I got into technical recruiting because I wanted a career in building relationships, and I find the tech industry particularly fascinating.
Has anything about recruiting surprised you so far?
It’s surprised me how quickly you can get to know someone. After talking to a candidate on the phone a few times, I’ve been able to really establish a great rapport.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I spend a lot of time with my new puppy, Patrick, and love taking him on hikes. I also enjoy reading fantasy books, playing RPG (role-playing games) video games, running, and trying new Austin restaurants.
