Our client operates the largest knowledge marketplace in the world by connecting experts across fields with powerful insights. They have an urgent need to hire a Technical PM to deliver critical changes to their corporate website. The Core Engineering team builds the technology eco-system that enables effective and efficient operations for the company globally. Our team of engineers is laser-focused on deploying technology solutions that instrument the business, modernize the systems stack, increase cybersecurity maturity, and enable enterprise productivity.

Reporting to the VP of Security, the Technology Project Manager will be a critical member of the team and will be shepherding large mission-critical projects for the firm. They will be partnering with all levels of the company and ensuring a great level of detail to enable great business outcomes. While most projects are not straight forward, it is important for the Project Manager to feel confident asking questions, chasing down key data, and ruthless in developing and managing a plan.

Primary Responsibilities

  • End-to-end project leadership and technical delivery from initiation to project closure including handover to customer support in line with client expectations
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that merge requirements from different groups
  • Work with key Technology and business leaders on cross-functional Technology projects
  • Manage a broad project portfolio and competing priorities with precision and diligence
  • Create visibility for business stakeholders and leaders across the project portfolio’s progress and plans, while creating an environment of minimal distractions for the engineering teams  
  • Develop and facilitate corporate communications at all levels; written, verbal, live, and produced 
  • Establish strong relationships with all of the business stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of their businesses and business needs, and how they apply to product technology
  • Facilitate feedback and involvement with the business stakeholders and Technology leaders  

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of applicable program or project management experience, including a minimum of 3+ years, experience partnering with senior leaders
  • Both business sense and product/technology empathy are required
  • Functional experience in product, marketing, corporate communications, strategy, or similar 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as executive-level presence, is required
  • Must be highly personable and collaborative, with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills  
  • Must possess humility, compassion, kindness, and a drive for excellence, all of which are core company values
