Our client, a leading event and sports management company in Austin, is looking to hire an Event Sales Representative. Working directly with customers, you will be responsible for generating revenue and new business from designated markets of our client and brainstorm on how to maximize event space and profitability. You will be a key player in running our client’s events and experiences by engaging the customer with sparking conversation, an understanding of their needs and tailored solutions. An attitude of enthusiasm is a MUST to be successful in this role!

• A participator of other special projects and administrative tasks when the need arises
You know you are successful if…

• You have a minimum of 1-5 years’ experience in sales, preferably in event sales (venue rental sales or catering sales
• You are experienced with event management software
• You are proficient in Microsoft office and other internet applications
• You are a skilled salesperson who enjoys communicating with consumers
• You are incredibly organized, hardworking, flexible, and able to multi-task under pressure
• You are effective with cultivating and maintaining relationships
• You are a self-starter who thrives working independently but can follow corporate guidelines
