As Marketing Operations Manager, who will be responsible for designing and executing merchant and consumer experiences and creating the automation, segmentation, and complex workflow builds that drive growth, engagement, and retention throughout the customer journey.

About you:
You are a strategist that has a blend of strategic and technical skills and proven success in building omnichannel personalized experiences using marketing automation tools, analyzing data to make decisions, and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The role: 

  • Lead and drive the company's merchant and consumer experience. Help build a strong understanding of their lifecycle and what drives growth, engagement, and churn. 
  • Work with Operations and Product Managers to map out all client engagement opportunities and create campaigns to drive positive outcomes. 
  • Lead the creation and implementation of solutions that will improve marketing impact and efficiencies via new automation workflows or campaigns.
  • Propose and build engagement strategies using digital channels (e.g. web, email, push, in-app messaging, SMS) to drive retention, upsell, and growth. 
  • Monitor campaigns, report on results, and drive ongoing optimization (e.g. A/B testing setup).  
  • Acts as a primary liaison between Marketing, Product Engineering, and Data Engineering — supporting the technology strategy and database architecture, and aligning the various components of the marketing technology stack with Engineering resources and capabilities.
  • Lead management of all marketing tech stack integrations, field mapping, and optimizations of functionalities. 

What we're looking for:

  • 4+ years of experience with 2+ years in customer marketing, marketing operations, marketing automation or CRM; comfortable with automation strategy, segmentation, and marketing using digital channels (email, push, SMS, in-app, website, etc.).
  • 2+ years of working directly in an enterprise-grade ESP (e.g. Marketo, Braze), with deep experience in setting up targeting, building multi-step workflows, QA, message deployment, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, automation rules, and triggers preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid copywriter with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proactive and results-oriented with a drive to make improvements. 
  • Comfortable with quantitative analytics and have experience translating data into business and consumer insights.
  • Bachelor’s degree – ideally in Business / Marketing
  • Preferred: SQL expertise
