This is a compelling new role where the right candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside the Senior Network Engineer as well as the Infrastructure and DevOps team, where your hands-on technical skills will assist in the mission of driving the success of IT operations and integrations within the organization. We are looking for a solid Network Engineer with a background in implementing and optimizing network and system uptimes for firms, assisting with the direction of the overall technology strategy, while utilizing positive communication skills while contributing in a collaborative way within the team and organization as a whole.

Primary Responsibilities of the Network Engineer 

  • Support the network infrastructure in remote data centers and offices
  • Serve as the escalation point for Tier 1/2 support staff for network related issues
  • Coordinate network infrastructure related work for new office builds
  • Monitor, analyze network
  • Internal and external vulnerability testing 
  • Network Documentation
  • Manage support contracts
  • Participate in projects
  • Be able to work the occasional weekend, after hours, and holidays

Primary Requirements as a Network Engineer

  • Experience configuring and supporting the following platforms
  • Cisco ASA 
  • Cisco Firepower 
  • Cisco Catalyst and Nexus Switches
  • Cisco ISR Routers
  • Cisco Wireless LAN controller
  • Cisco Access Points
  • Cisco Mobility Express
  • Cisco Web Security Appliance
  • Cisco AnyConnect Client
  • Experience with configuring and troubleshooting network protocols (VLAN, STP, LACP, CDP, 802.1Q, 802.11, NAT, HSRP, EIGRP, BGP, IKEv1, IKEv2, IPSEC, VTI
  • Experience with Multi-Factor Authentication solutions and VPN architecture (Site to Site and Client)
  • Experience with using network monitoring and traffic analyzing tools (SolarWinds, Nessus, Wireshark)
  • Experience with coordinating structured cabling installation in office environments
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure networking (VNET, SUBNET, UDR, NSG, NVA, VWAN, VHUB, Express Route, VNet Peering)
