As the company is continuing to expand, they are looking to add a Principal Engineer, who will be a part of the Technology team that develops, maintains, and improves the technical systems across all organizations, provides technical support and ensures the whole company runs smoothly.

What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:

  • Although a formal degree or certification is not required, tertiary qualifications can include the following:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computing Engineering, or other engineering related field.
  • 10+ years in a software-related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of software testing principles and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with event-based messaging architectures.
  • Foundational knowledge of front-end, back-end, and web technologies.
  • Experience in one or many high-level programming languages.
  • Familiarity in ETL architectural patterns.
  • IT/Cloud certifications – e.g., CCNA, AWS, Azure, or equivalent experience is a plus!
  • Docker/container-based deployment models is also a plus!
  • Knowledge of workflow management platforms such as Apache Airflow, Argo, MLFlow, etc. not required but a bonus.
