Our client, a global FinTech and RegTech platform, is not a startup they are an established, rapidly expanding company. They provide an award-winning, state of the art regulatory technology solutions and services to financial services companies. The Product Consultant takes a leading role in the Professional Services team, it is a client-facing role which requires working closely with clients to clearly understand their operational and regulatory challenges to design the optimum solution that is consistent with the product offering. Core to this role is the ability to build strong relationships with the client’s Project Team and Subject Matter Experts as well as working confidently with Senior Stakeholders when the need arises. In addition, the Product Consultant is required to facilitate workshops, give presentations and demonstrate a high degree of product proficiency with absolute professionalism.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide innovation, leadership, and influence in the design of a client-centric delivery that is aligned with the core product offering and industry best practice
  • Prepare and lead client requirement workshops
  • Take responsibility for the documentation, review and sign off of functional artifacts
  • Prepare and deliver training sessions and demonstrations to the client’s business users
  • Serve as a key point of contact and trusted advisor for the client throughout the project delivery to ensure the client is given appropriate functional support
  • Drive internal process-focussed initiatives ensuring consistent standards are adopted across the practice
  • Identify product-enhancing opportunities, working closely with R&D to support prioritization and delivery
  • Engage in and support new initiatives focused on driving best practice in the Functional space
  • Stay abreast of product and regulatory developments and support knowledge sharing within the practice of relevant topics

Professional Requirements

  • 3+ years of consulting experience within the banking or financial services industry in a client-facing role
  • Workshop facilitation and client expectation management, presentations and demonstrates a high degree of product efficiency
  • Business process and requirements analysis – experience in eliciting and analyzing business requirements and following the process through to final delivery
  • Knowledge of large-scale project implementation and associated software development lifecycle
  • Exposure to the implementation of organizational change such as business process improvement
  • This role will include up to 30% travel
  • Business French or Spanish is an advantage but not a requirement
