Our client is a rapidly scaling Advertising Agency headquartered in Austin; specializing in both tradition and digital looking to bring on a Sales Director.  This person will be responsible for sales and new business development of digital and traditional advertising specific to the Automotive industry. This role has an OTE of 250-300K at quota
 
Responsibilities

  • Prospect and manage sales to automotive dealerships across the United States
  • Consult with leadership to qualify the need for digital and traditional advertising services to enhance brand
  • Account management with outcome of increased customer happiness and increase in retention & account growth
  • Proficient in business development with the ability to break into and qualify accounts
  • Handle forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
  • Maintain strong knowledge & focus
  • Fiscal responsibility with regards to expense management

Qualifications

  • 6-10 years external experience with validated advertising sales in the Automotive industry.  
  • Track record of success meeting and exceeding quota’s
  • Demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, sales acumen
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering benefited, insightful and strategic insight into their business
  • Excellent written and oral/presentation skills
  • Ability to develop and conduct effective presentations with contract decision makers
  • Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to close
  • Bachelor’s degree, with strong evidence of success in school
  • Masters or advanced degree a plus/
