The team of construction professionals they have on board is known for their skill, integrity, and dedication to craftsmanship and takes pride in delivering buildings on schedule and on budget while maintaining a high standard of quality.

As the company continues to have success, they are growing quickly and looking to hire a Superintendent to manage the day-to-day operations on job sites. From the preconstruction phase of the project through completion, the Superintendent is the official onsite representative of the company. The main responsibilities include the enforcement of the project schedule, quality control standards, and safety procedures. This role is best for competitive and resourceful individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment that demands precision and attention to detail. What YOU get to DO at this innovative company

  • Provide detailed coordination of all subcontractors, material vendors, design professionals, and 3rd party inspectors.
  • Oversee the project setup and site utilization including but not limited to signage, job trailer, security, fencing, first-aid, temporary utilities, etc.
  • Understand the expectations of the client and then lead the team through the successful execution of the construction process.
  • Apply QC Program ensuring that all building components are installed per design documents and manufacturer requirements.
  • Implement Safety Program with to goal of having the cleanest and safest projects in the industry.
  • Supervise the team to ensure that material procurement and deliveries achieve schedule.
  • Administer the general conditions budget and review invoices to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain and push project schedule to contracted delivery dates.
  • Manage and train onsite assistants to be the best in the industry.
  • Survey the punch list, turnover, and commissioning of the project.
  • Coordinate all building inspections and certificates of occupancy.
  • Complete project documentation including daily reports with project photographs and as-built documentation.

What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in the Commercial construction industry (preferably Multi-family, or Mixed Use)
    • Commercial: Business property, including office space, shopping centers, stores, theaters, hotels, and parking faculties 
  • Team-oriented with excellent leadership and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex problems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to lift to 25 pounds. Ability to travel to and from meetings, training, or other business-related events.
