Core Responsibilities of the UX/UI Designer
- Work directly with the Product Design team, Marketing, Development, and internal solutions teams to produce detailed feature designs
- Designing the UX architecture, interaction flow, and visual aesthetics of our current systems, tools, and applications
- Helping establish and develop a visual design system and style applicable across our Web, Mobile, and Kiosk applications
- Own all the aspects of the design lifecycle: UX/UI and Visual Design (mockups, prototypes, wires, assets, and element creation)
- Develop and maintain a design system and coordinate with the Product Design and development team for implementation
- Develop assets for use by the development team and marketing in line with Client Style Guide and aligned with design system standards
- The Designer will be expected to evolve the current applications into their desired future state
- Research Industry design trends and perform competitive analysis
Core Requirements for the UX/UI Designer
- 3+ years’ experience as a UX/UI or Visual Designer for web and mobile products
- Experience in digital enterprise products or software as a service, with strong holistic systems thinking, deep attention to detail, and passion for making difficult tasks into simple and effective experiences for both internal and external customers
- Proficient in multiple design tools (Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator), Sketch, Axure, Figma, Invision, etc)
- Expert knowledge of UX process and usability design principles including mobile
- Expert understanding of hierarchy and layout design principles including mobile
- Awareness of current trends in user interface design
- Strong visual design skills
- Work with Product Designers to translate business requirements into experiences
- Positive attitude and an ability to receive, process, and provide objective feedback
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- B.S. degree in interaction design, a related UX degree or equivalent education/experience
