The Opportunity
We are currently hiring an experienced Operations Director to play a pivotal role in delivering our operational responsibilities, helping grow the firm and build out processes. You will support our advisors, our clients, and our continued growth, ensuring smooth firm-wide operations centered on delivering and sustaining revenue, providing outstanding client service, as well as project management and excellent execution of the details. We are a small but fast-growing team and this role will be instrumental in our operations as well as pivotal in the growth of the operations team and function.

Responsibilities
- Own and deliver investment operations daily, monthly and annual activities including account management (openings, funding, money movement, cash management, reporting, NIGO resolution, and RMDs) and SEC compliance.
- Interface and coordinate with OCIO investment firm in the delivery of investment management services
- Manage custodial relations for liquid and non-liquid investment accounts
- Provide operational reporting for all business operations (consulting, investment and insurance) across multiple systems using excel based reports. Ensure accurate reconciliation out across systems (Orion, QBO, Banking)
- Drive process improvements across the organization to deliver high quality services to advisors, leadership, and business operations.
- Respond promptly to client service requests, troubleshoot service issues, and provide effective solutions
- Update and maintain client status and information within CRM and all internal systems and reports
- Proactively communicate with Advisors, providing updates and addressing concerns
- Growth: future leader/manager role of building service team with company growth and expansion.
- Leadership: Collaborate with the COO, Founder, and Leadership Team in various areas, including operations, technology, and investment management
- Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with regulatory requirements and company policies. Assist with compliance maintenance duties to ensure regulatory adherence
- Strategic Projects: independently own various strategic projects that drive operational efficiency, growth and scale.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a wealth management or financial planning firm.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Degree highly preferred
- Operational Execution: Demonstrated excellence in optimizing operational processes and delivering exceptional client service
- Investment advisory experience: with high network portfolios, investments, compliance exposure, direct federal and/or state regulatory experience preferred
- Industry Awareness: Solid understanding of investment and financial planning management concepts
- Systems: Expertise with Orion, Redtail, eMoney, Holistaplan or similar software preferred
- Collaboration: Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office (excel) and Microsoft 365 (Sharepoint, Teams, Planner)
- Custodial Experience: Deep experience working with Schwab, SAC and investment management routines
- Certifications: Has or willing to obtain Series 65 license (required for compliance duties)
