Principal Product Manager
Our client is a fast-growing, highly successful Technology Product Company leader in DevOps for the Database. Downloaded more than 100 million times, their software enables DevOps teams around the globe to accelerate the software delivery process by automating database updates, security, and governance. They are a nimble, fast-paced, innovative team with the opportunity to make an outsized impact on the business and the industry.
As they continue to grow, they are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead their flagship self-managed product, which supports CI/CD pipelines for developers, data scientists, and DevOps teams. The ideal candidate has experience with developer-facing enterprise products, works closely with engineers, and engages with customers to address pain points. They are responsible for driving product improvements, making key decisions, and communicating effectively with both internal teams and customers.

- Define the product strategy for a specific domain, turning the product vision into reality by collaborating with the business and agile engineering teams.
- Amplify the voice of the customer through persona development, customer journey mapping, and outreach, ensuring timely and budget-conscious product delivery.
- Work directly with customers to understand their needs, ensuring the product aligns with those needs and provides great user experiences.
- Conducting market research and competitive analysis, working with the GTM team, and managing the product roadmap to prioritize features.
What you NEED to SUCCEED in this high-profile role:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 6+ years in product management. The ideal candidate has experience in defining and delivering product strategies, is customer-centric, data-driven, and skilled in cross-functional collaboration.
- Be able to transition between high-level strategy and detail-oriented execution, balancing business and customer needs.
- Expertise in Automation, CI/CD, and DevOps is essential, as is experience in agile environments, working closely with engineering.
- Knowledge of data technologies, AI/ML, data engineering, and DevOps, with availability starting at 8:30 AM CST for collaboration.
