Describe your role at recruitAbility.
My job is to help build our brand and market presence through various marketing strategies and tactics!
What made you want to work in recruiting?
As a marketing professional, it’s important that you truly believe in the product/service that you are promoting. Along with marketing, one of my main passions is to help people. With recruiting, you get to help people every day by finding the right person to help a business grow and helping candidates find the next move in their careers.
What made you want to join recruitAbility?
What made recruitAbility stand out from other businesses was the company culture. They provide an environment where everyone feels understood, and it gives us the opportunity to further shape the company. recruitAbility also has a heavy focus on career development. Whether you are in sales, marketing, or recruiting, you have the opportunity to develop your skills and grow your career.
Do you have a favorite business book or podcast?
My favorite business book would have to be “Never Spilt the Difference” by Chris Voss. It was interesting to learn how a basic skill, like negotiation, can be applicable to all aspects of your life.
What appeals to you about moving to Austin?
I have lived in Pennsylvania my whole life, so I am so ready for the sunshine and warmth! I also can’t wait to explore all the different types of restaurants and food venues!
