Describe your role at recruitAbility.
I am a Technical Recruiter here at recruitAbility on the Wolfpack team and I come in with almost 5 years of recruiting experience consisting of sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and extending offers to candidates that are suited for tech roles — software engineering, data analysis, technical writers, etc.

What made you want to work in recruiting?
I fell into recruiting by chance and I am glad that I did! I have many years of customer service experience and wanted to apply those skills in the business world.

What’s your favorite part of recruiting?
I love working with people and making real connections that are life changing for candidate and client. I think what we do as recruiters can not be replicated by a computer, and I love that it is a human business, with human error and human connection.

What made you want to join recruitAbility?
I really enjoyed hearing how team focused and tight knit this company is and was looking for my next “home.” I wanted to be proud of who I was working for and excited to represent the brand. I know I have found that with recruitAbility!

Do you have a favorite business book or podcast?
I am currently reading and loving the book the “The Compound Effect” by Darren Hardy. I love that it is about the principle that little, everyday decisions will either take you to the life you desire or to disaster by default.

What’s your favorite part about living in Austin?
I really enjoy all of the natural beauty that Austin has. There are so many parks to explore and the out door life in Austin is endless.

Favorite spot to get food in Austin?
Sway, the best Thai food!

What do you enjoy doing outside of the office?
I love taking my son and two shih tzus to the park and anything outdoors. I also enjoy brunch/lunch/dinner anywhere in Austin with a great view and spending time at dog bars with friends.
