Project Engineer, Land Development

What YOU get to DO at this growing company:

Develop construction documents, expedite permits, and support construction phase services on multi-disciplinary teams.

Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other team members to design and develop site plans that comply with applicable regulations and standards.

Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other CADD software for stormwater, erosion and sediment control, utility design, and overall site development plans.

Conduct site investigations and assessments to gather design data and inform engineering solutions.

Design innovative and sustainable site development projects that include grading, stormwater management, utility systems, and environmental impact analysis.

Prepare design calculations, technical reports, feasibility studies, and support documentation for permits and project proposals.

Coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary approvals and permits.

Participate in client meetings and project presentations to discuss scope, progress, and solutions.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and efficient project outcomes.

Monitor project budgets, timelines, and deliverables to ensure quality and efficiency.

Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in land development engineering.
What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.

Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.

5–15 years of progressive experience in site/land development engineering within public and private sectors.

Proficient in CADD and Civil 3D software for design and drafting.

Demonstrated knowledge of stormwater drainage design, erosion and sediment control, utility infrastructure, and related municipal projects.

Strong understanding of civil engineering design principles, codes, and permitting processes.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client and team interaction.

Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.

Team-oriented with a collaborative work ethic and problem-solving mindset.
