Chief Information & Digital Officer (CIO/CDO)

The Chief Information and Digital Officer will lead the strategic direction of Information Technology, Business Process Re-engineering, and Digital Transformation across the organization. This role is responsible for creating competitive advantage through enhanced efficiency, effectiveness, and security of business processes—leveraging data, systems, and advanced technologies such as AI to automate and streamline operations in close collaboration with key stakeholders.

A key focus will be driving the ongoing evolution toward a business-focused, globally aligned IT infrastructure and service organization. The CIO/CDO will oversee teams spanning IT applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business process architecture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, and execute the IT strategy in alignment with business objectives, including oversight of implementation, operations, and budget.

  • Lead the digital transformation strategy, roadmap, and implementation while managing associated budgets and resources.

  • Strengthen cybersecurity posture through enhanced policies, processes, and systems that meet the highest standards.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop global IT and digital teams to achieve strategic and operational excellence.

  • Ensure alignment between IT initiatives and cross-functional business needs.

  • Drive the ongoing transformation of IT operations toward a proactive, business-oriented service model.

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and business trends, particularly in areas such as AI and data-driven automation.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of executive leadership experience as a CIO, CDO, or CTO overseeing information technology, digital strategy, or data-driven transformation, ideally within high-tech or complex global environments.

  • Digital Strategy Expertise:

    • Proven ability to design and deliver IT and digital strategies informed by market trends, business challenges, and emerging technologies.

    • Track record of achieving strategic and stretch goals through data-driven decision making.

    • Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and risk management.

    • Demonstrated ability to evaluate, adopt, and implement new technologies effectively.

  • Strong digital mindset and familiarity with emerging technologies, including AI, automation, and analytics.
