Our client is a leading provider of electrical and industrial solutions, rooted in delivering quality installations. As the company continues to grow its service and special projects division, they are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Estimator to join the team. This role is ideal for a dependable and approachable professional who thrives on problem-solving, clear communication, and getting the job done right. The selected candidate will work directly with commercial clients across South Texas to provide solutions for service work and smaller-scale electrical projects.

What YOU get to DO at this growing company:

  • Meet with commercial clients, including property managers and facility operators, to assess service and electrical project needs.

  • Estimate and quote quick-turn jobs such as lighting repairs, panel upgrades, facility improvements, and system troubleshooting.

  • Coordinate with electricians and technicians to ensure smooth job execution that meets or exceeds expectations.

  • Maintain organized records of quotes, job status, and follow-ups, ensuring all client needs are addressed promptly.

  • Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and pride—acting as if your name is on the truck.

What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:

  • 2–5 years of experience preparing detailed cost estimates for electrical construction projects, including commercial and industrial applications
  • Strong reputation in the market with established relationships and connections that can be leveraged to generate new business opportunities.
  • Proven ability to review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates.
  • Skilled in preparing detailed breakdowns for materials, labor, and subcontractor costs.
  • Experience collaborating with engineers, project managers, and clients to develop competitive bids.
  • Ability to analyze risks, project scope, and identify value-engineering opportunities.
  • Proficiency in using estimating software and digital tools to produce accurate and timely proposals.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Austin, Texas.
