Our client is a VC-backed nano-biotechnology start-up revolutionizing the functional ingredient space in food and beverage. They develop, manufacture, and license patented smart nanocarriers that optimize the performance of functional ingredients across multiple verticals including nootropics, energy stimulants, vitamins, probiotics, and protein. Founded in 2019 with 70+ patents, they've assembled a team of CPG leaders, cancer researchers, attorneys, and nutritionists to overcome long-standing challenges in the Food and Beverage Industry.

What YOU get to DO in this role:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery wiring, motor controls, and facility electrical infrastructure within a manufacturing environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical components, PLCs, VFDs, and automated equipment to ensure continuous production.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and ensure reliable operation.
  • Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support installations, repairs, and modifications.
  • Ensure all electrical work meets NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams during equipment upgrades and installations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, inspections, and modifications for compliance and operational tracking.
  • Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns to minimize production downtime and keep operations running smoothly.

What you NEED to SUCCEED in this role:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in electrical systems required.
  • Valid state electrician license required.
  • 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, and automation controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
