ISO and Safety Compliance Manager

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented ISO & Safety Compliance Manager to lead the Quality Management System (QMS) under ISO 9001:2015 and oversee all workplace safety initiatives in alignment with OSHA, state, and local regulations.
In this role, you’ll ensure that operations consistently meet the highest standards for product quality, regulatory compliance, and employee well-being. You’ll collaborate across departments to strengthen the safety culture, drive continuous improvement, and maintain a world-class QMS that supports operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
ISO / Quality Management

Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of an ISO 9001:2015-compliant QMS.

Serve as the primary contact for internal and external audits, including certification and recertification.

Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and other quality documentation.

Facilitate management reviews and ensure outcomes align with organizational quality objectives.

Identify non-conformities, lead root cause analysis, and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Oversee supplier quality audits and ensure vendor compliance with quality standards.

Maintain audit records, reports, and supporting documentation in accordance with ISO requirements.

Provide ISO/QMS training to managers and staff to ensure readiness and compliance.

Track, analyze, and present QMS performance metrics to leadership.
Safety Compliance

Act as the primary OSHA liaison for inspections and correspondence.

Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies in compliance with OSHA, state, and local standards.

Conduct regular workplace inspections, safety audits, and ergonomic assessments.

Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts.

Coordinate safety meetings, drills, and awareness programs to promote a safety-first culture.

Ensure accurate maintenance and posting of OSHA logs (e.g., 300, 300A).

Oversee PPE inventory, safety equipment procurement, and readiness.

Develop and track safety KPIs (e.g., TRIR, near-miss rates) and present findings to leadership.

Stay up to date with evolving safety regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent experience.

Minimum 3 years of experience managing ISO 9001:2015 audits and safety programs.

Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety standards.

Proficiency in QMS software, audit tools, and Microsoft Office.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred:
-
ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification.
-
OSHA 30, CSP, or other recognized safety certifications.
-
First Aid/CPR certification.
-
Experience conducting supplier audits and managing CAPA processes.
-
Background in industrial or manufacturing environments.
