Workflow Automation Specialist – Contract / 1099
Location: Austin, TX (Remote or Hybrid) | Flexible Hours | Immediate Start

A fast-growing strategy and transformation firm is seeking a Workflow Automation Specialist with deep experience in n8n or similar platforms (Zapier, Make.com). This is a part-time, contract/1099 opportunity with flexible hours (with potential to be full-time), plus the chance to work on high-impact systems that support both internal operations and external client solutions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and maintain automations using n8n or similar tools

  • Build integrations between apps like Slack, Notion, CRMs, Google Workspace, and more

  • Create reusable templates and documentation for handoff

  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve existing workflows

  • Recommend better tools or approaches to improve performance

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Hands-on experience with n8n or workflow automation tools like Zapier or Make

  • Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and data formats like JSON

  • Familiar with tools such as Slack, Notion, GoHighLevel, and Google Workspace

  • Creative thinker who enjoys building clean, scalable systems

  • Strong communication skills and professional presence—this is a client-facing role

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently

  • Bonus: experience with GenAI tools, low-code/no-code platforms, or cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure)
