QA Supervisor

Our client is a leader in the transportation and fuel retail technology industry, specializing in the design and manufacturing of advanced electronic signage and software solutions. With a strong presence across North America, their products support mission-critical infrastructure for Departments of Transportation and major fuel retailers, delivering high-performance systems engineered for safety, durability, and compliance.
As their operations continue to grow, they are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisor to lead and elevate quality practices across electronics manufacturing and precision sheet metal assembly. This is a full-time, onsite leadership role for a hands-on quality professional with strong experience in ISO 9001, UL certifications, and electronics manufacturing standards.
What YOU get to DO at this growing company:

Lead and manage the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001 standards.

Oversee and coordinate UL certification processes including UL 94 and UL 508A.

Conduct and support internal and external audits for ISO, UL, and customer requirements.

Supervise inspection activities for PCBs, electronic components, and precision sheet metal assemblies.

Maintain accurate and thorough quality documentation, including control plans, specs, and compliance records.

Investigate non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and implement CAPA solutions.

Monitor and report key quality metrics, including yield, defect rates, and customer returns.

Coach and develop a team of QA inspectors, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:

Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management or a related technical/engineering field.

Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in electronics manufacturing, including 2+ years in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge and application of ISO 9001 standards and best practices.

Hands-on experience managing UL certifications such as UL 94 (flammability) and UL 508A (control panels).

Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-600 standards and RoHS compliance.

Proficiency in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions backed by data.

Experience inspecting precision sheet metal components and electronic assemblies.
