Senior Product Manager -Applications

Our client is a technology company transforming Defense Acquisition from an outdated, manual process into a software-driven strategic advantage for the United States. Their flagship platform empowers Supply Chain, Science and Technology, Production, Sustainment, Logistics, and Modernization teams across the national security community to make faster, data-informed decisions. Every branch of the U.S. military relies on this platform to enable more agile and effective acquisition outcomes.

As the company continues to expand, they are seeking a Product Manager – Platform Applications to lead the integration of new capabilities into their core suite of applications within the Ark platform. This is an individual contributor role focused on prioritizing, rationalizing, and transitioning existing prototypes into scalable, production-ready solutions. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who thrives on delivering customer value at scale and enabling wide adoption across the defense ecosystem.

What YOU get to DO at this growing company:

• Lead the integration of prototype workflows and features into production-ready applications within the Ark platform.

• Define the addressable market size, competitive landscape, and alignment of new features with company strategy.

• Partner with customer-aligned product managers and field teams to identify common needs and drive product adoption across diverse user groups.

• Conduct user research and on-site discovery to understand pain points and define clear, impactful product solutions.

• Develop Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and business cases for new product capabilities, grounded in measurable customer value.

• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and data science teams to deliver features that are both technically feasible and user-friendly.

• Partner with sales and engagement teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and the product roadmap.

• Facilitate the market introduction of new features, balancing risk, cost, and delivery speed.

• Ensure smooth integration of features and workflows into Ark for seamless use across all customer accounts.

What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:

• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• 5+ years of experience in product management or software development, ideally with enterprise (B2B or B2G) applications.

• Strong value orientation with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes for customers.

• Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with multiple stakeholders.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active U.S. Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one with sponsorship.

• Experience in or around the Department of Defense (DoD), particularly the Department of the Army or the Department of the Air Force.

• Familiarity with Value Proposition Canvas and/or Business Model Canvas frameworks.

• Experience working in a startup or entrepreneurial environment.

• Full product lifecycle experience — from early concept through production, launch, and maintenance.

• Advanced degree in a business or technical discipline.
