As a Sr Automation Engineer, you will be a key player in creating elegant, AI-powered, solutions for seamless integration and automation of business-critical applications that will streamline business operations. You will utilize your multi-faceted expertise encompassing technical skills, functional business and people skills, strategic thinking and incomparable quality standards.
- Technical:
- Design, build, and maintain automation tools and system integrations, optimizing processes to improve efficiency and communication between disparate applications and systems.
- Functional:
- Partner with technical and non-technical teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions. Communicate with key internal customers and stakeholders.
- Strategic Thinking:
- Learn and leverage AI to streamline workflows, improve data-driven decision-making, and champion continuous innovation in automation and system integrations.
- Quality Standards:
- Perform testing, validation, and documentation of solutions, maintaining high standards of reliability, security, and performance.
- Troubleshoot issues and proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing automation and integration solutions.
Required Education, Experience and Technical Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience delivering IT solutions across cross-functional teams, with key stakeholder engagement.
- 2+ years of experience in full lifecycle software development – conceive, code, test, integrate, test again, release, support, enhance, upgrade and so on….
- Automation development toolset (preferably Python and .NET).
- AWS services experience (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, SNS, SQS) and desire to learn additional AWS technologies.
- Experience utilizing RESTful APIs, web services, and data integration and DevOps best practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, IAC (Infrastructure as Code), etc.).
Required Soft/Functional/People Skills:
- You are a purpose-driven developer and understand the “why” of your work, not just the “what” you are developing.
- Independent thinker and contributor who also thrives in and drives collaboration in cross-functional and cross-team technical projects
- Passion for continuous learning and desire to Mentor junior engineers.
- Strong communication skills, with experience and comfort translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

- Skilled in managing and building relationships and trust, communicating and listening to ensure the cohesive delivery of products for customer/stakeholder satisfaction.
Preferred Certifications:
- Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Developer) are preferred.
INDSJ
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, or a related field.
