As a leading provider of HVAC/R sensing solutions, our client is seeking a skilled and innovative Electronic Design Engineer to join their team in Gays Mills, WI. This position plays a vital role in product development and lifecycle support by designing and testing embedded hardware and analog/digital circuitry that meet or exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with PCB design, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for developing high-reliability products in diverse environments.

Lead all phases of embedded hardware design including requirement analysis, schematic design, PCB layout, debugging, and validation.

Develop analog and digital circuitry emphasizing accuracy, reliability, and performance across varying conditions.

Utilize tools and software to design circuits, capture data, and create reports and documentation.

Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Technicians to meet timelines, budgets, and project objectives.

Create and manage detailed schematics and component selections aligned with technical specifications.

Perform thorough testing and validation of new and existing hardware using equipment such as oscilloscopes, RF analyzers, and logic analyzers.

Provide ongoing production support and implement engineering change orders as needed.

Maintain comprehensive project documentation and support manufacturing processes through sourcing and component evaluation.

Stay current on industry trends through professional development and maintain a continuous improvement mindset.
What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:

Bachelor’s degree (ABET accredited) in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (Required).

5+ years of experience in analog and digital circuit design (post-bachelor’s).

Proficiency in PCB design/layout and using standard electronics lab/test equipment.

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and debug circuitry; experience with rework/repair of electronic assemblies (Preferred).

Exposure to wireless technology and/or the HVAC/R industry is a plus.

Familiarity with regulatory compliance testing and network topology protocols (Preferred).

Strong computer and documentation skills, including Microsoft Office and technical writing (Preferred).

Effective problem-solver with strong organizational and communication abilities.
