Our client is a long-standing architectural, engineering, and interior design firm based in St. Petersburg, Florida. Known for delivering high-quality work across healthcare, senior living, multifamily, and commercial sectors, they are expanding their structural team to support continued growth and a robust project pipeline.

They are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Structural Designer/Drafter to join their collaborative and multidisciplinary studio. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on large-scale senior living and multifamily mid-rise projects, both new construction and renovations, with a strong focus on Revit and AutoCAD production.

What YOU get to DO at this growing company:

  • Support structural engineers with drafting and design on various project types including healthcare, senior living, multifamily, and retail/community developments.

  • Produce schematic design drawings, design development documents, and construction documents in compliance with firm standards.

  • Prepare accurate structural plans and layouts using Revit and AutoCAD for mid-rise and large facility designs.

  • Coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure consistency and quality across all project documentation.

  • Assist in calculations and structural design tasks under the guidance of licensed engineers.

  • Ensure all design and documentation efforts meet quality, schedule, and budget expectations.

  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment with a focus on delivering client satisfaction and design excellence.

What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in Revit and AutoCAD drafting within the architectural or engineering field.

  • Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD 2019 (or later) and Autodesk Revit 2019 (or later).

  • Demonstrated experience producing structural construction documents for large-scale commercial or residential projects.

  • Familiarity with structural design-build environments, preferably in senior living and multifamily mid-rise construction.

  • Understanding of design standards and drafting practices in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong judgment and the ability to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

  • Experience in new construction and renovation projects utilizing concrete, masonry, and structural framing systems.

Education Requirements:

  • Degree in Architecture, Drafting, Design, Engineering Technology, or equivalent job-related experience.
