recruitAbility named #6 Best Place to Work by ABJ

recruitAbility has been named the #6 Best Place to Work in the Micro Company category as part of the Austin Business Journal’s 2026 Best Places to Work Awards, and the team couldn’t be more proud.

This marks the fourth time recruitAbility has made the list, a streak that started not long after the company opened its doors.

A history of recognition

  • 2018: #7 Best Place to Work (2017 review period)
  • 2020: #1 Best Place to Work (2019 review period)
  • 2021: #4 Best Place to Work (2020 review period)
  • 2026: #6 Best Place to Work (2025 review period)

The timing makes this one feel especially good. recruitAbility is approaching its 10 year anniversary, and this recognition is proof that what the company set out to build from day one is actually working.

Built by the team, for the team

“This recognition means so much because it comes directly from our team,” said Nad Elias, CEO of recruitAbility. “While our business is helping clients build exceptional teams, we’ve always believed that starts with building one ourselves. As we approach our tenth anniversary, it’s incredibly rewarding to see that commitment recognized once again.”

recruitAbility has never wanted to be the kind of company that talks about culture without living it. Accountability, transparency, teamwork, and service aren’t words on a slide deck here. They’re how the team treats each other, and how they show up for the clients and candidates who trust them with some of the biggest decisions in their careers.

“Our people are the reason clients trust us with some of their most important hiring decisions,” Elias added. “Awards like this belong to every member of our team who shows up each day committed to doing the right thing for our clients, our candidates, and each other.”

What the award measures

This isn’t a popularity contest decided by outsiders. The Austin Business Journal’s Best Places to Work awards come straight from employee surveys, rating things like leadership, communication, culture, and overall satisfaction. In other words, the recruitAbility team told ABJ what it’s like to work there, and the answer was good enough to land the company in the top tier four separate times.

What’s Next

recruitAbility isn’t slowing down. As the company heads into its next decade, the plan stays the same: help great companies find great people, and keep building a place where its own people genuinely want to be.
