With an MBA from Notre Dame de Namur University and a bachelor’s degree from Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines, Laarni Canoy brings a global and deeply strategic perspective to talent acquisition. A lifelong learner with a strong interest in organizational change, she pairs academic grounding with hands-on experience as a founding recruiter for several fast-scaling technology teams. Her passion lies in building inclusive, high-impact organizations that thrive on purpose, performance, and people.

Over the past decade, Laarni has led global talent acquisition efforts for dynamic companies including Scratch Financial, Enervee, Scalefactor, and Notley. She has implemented ATS platforms such as Greenhouse, Lever, and Rippling, and is well-versed in a wide range of recruiting technologies that enhance efficiency and candidate experience. From building recruiting operations from the ground up to coaching hiring leaders and supporting executive search, Laarni is known for delivering scalable, values-driven talent solutions tailored to fast-paced environments.

Originally from the Philippines, Laarni has lived and worked in Manila, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, and now calls Austin, Texas home. She serves as a mentor with Austin SHRM and is a proud supporter of Austin Pets Alive. Passionate about DEI, community-building, and continuous growth, she’s also a seasoned world traveler who has explored 30+ countries. Outside of work, she’s often found curating foodie adventures, enjoying rooftop sunsets, or discovering new places with her dog and travel companions. A connector by nature, Laarni brings both heart and systems-thinking to every team she joins.
