Company Overview
Our client is a rapidly growing leader in co-packing and manufacturing high-quality food products for restaurants and CPG brands in Texas. They partner with emerging and established brands to market innovative, scalable food solutions.
As they expand, they seek a Business Development Manager to support the growth strategy by driving new customer acquisition and fostering strong relationships with targeted accounts. This is a key opportunity for a rising sales professional with 3–5 years of experience who wants to grow under the mentorship of an established Director of Business Development.
What YOU Will Do
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through research, prospecting, and outbound engagement, including cold calling, networking, and site visits.
- Support the sales pipeline by qualifying leads, preparing proposals, and participating in presentations to prospective customers.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Business Development on sales strategies, pricing proposals, and account prioritization.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with existing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and uncovering opportunities for growth.
- Track and report sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline updates in the company’s CRM system.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new areas for potential business.
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer visits as required.
What You Need to Succeed
- 3–5 years of sales or business development experience in a B2B setting, ideally within food, beverage, or CPG manufacturing/distribution.
- Proven ability to generate leads, qualify prospects, and support the closing of new business deals.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging with decision-makers at multiple levels.
- Highly organized with strong time management and follow-up abilities.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and MS Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
