Revenue Operations Specialist

Our client is a HubSpot Solutions Partner specializing in revenue growth for middle-market, private equity-backed portfolio companies. They combine sales, marketing, technology, and strategy to help clients connect marketing efforts to revenue through data-driven systems. With a patent-pending RevOps ROI and forecasting tool developed in-house, they’re growing rapidly and seeking a technically skilled Revenue Operations Specialist to support their expanding client base.
This is a Part Time Contract role with potential for conversion
What YOU get to DO in this role:
- Own and optimize CRM/MAP integrations, primarily with HubSpot, focusing on technical configuration and custom automation to connect marketing attribution to revenue.
- Implement and maintain conversion tracking and event setups using Google Tag Manager, including custom JavaScript for dataLayer enhancements and advanced tag management.
- Partner with marketing and sales teams to build and manage reporting dashboards (HubSpot, Looker Studio, Tableau, etc.) that deliver accurate, trustworthy data for strategic decision-making.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical tracking issues across web properties and platforms to ensure data integrity.
- Write and manage custom JavaScript and light programming scripts to extend HubSpot, GTM, or other tech stack functionality.
- Strategize and implement efficient solutions in HubSpot and other CRMs using automation, custom workflows, and third-party integrations.
- Collaborate with internal and external developers as the technical liaison, bridging communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Monitor data integrity across systems, proactively identifying and resolving data issues to maintain clean, actionable data.
- Evaluate and implement new tools, APIs, and integrations to improve campaign performance and scalability for multiple clients.
- Contribute to the documentation and evolution of RevOps processes and playbooks to support continuous improvement.
- Stay current on data privacy, compliance, and tagging best practices, advising clients accordingly.
What you NEED to SUCCEED in this role:
- 3+ years of Revenue Operations, Marketing Ops, or similar technical operations experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with HubSpot, including workflow automation, lead routing, scoring, and data hygiene.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager, including custom events, variables, and triggers.
- Proficient in JavaScript and general programming fundamentals, with the ability to write and debug code using browser dev tools.
- Familiarity with marketing attribution models, web analytics, and dataLayer structures.
- Experience with BI/reporting tools such as HubSpot Reports, Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI.
Bonus points for:
- Experience with other CRMs or MAPs (Salesforce, Pardot, Marketo, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Experience with APIs, webhook handling, or middleware tools (Zapier, Make, Workato, etc.).
- Understanding of SEO, page performance, and how tags/tracking impact site behavior.
- Exposure to SQL, Python, or back-end logic for advanced automation and data transformation.
