Sales Operations Manager

A mission-driven health and wellness company specializing in all-natural, organic OTC products is seeking a Sales Operations Manager to strengthen its retail performance across drug, mass, and grocery channels. This strategic, cross-functional role will drive retail execution, sales analysis, and marketing collaboration to elevate brand presence and performance in a competitive landscape.
As a key member of the sales team, the Sales Operations Manager will support national account relationships, optimize shopper marketing strategies, and leverage retail data insights to deliver revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on operator with strong analytical capabilities, retail channel knowledge, and a passion for purpose-driven brands.

Sales Execution & Retail Support
- Support the VP of Sales in managing key retail accounts and broker relationships
- Identify opportunities for product placement, promotions, and shelf expansion
- Ensure smooth execution across drug, mass, and grocery channels
Retail Marketing & Digital Presence
- Collaborate with marketing on shopper marketing campaigns (digital + in-store)
- Optimize retailer.com content, pricing, and visibility
- Support product launches and category reviews with data-driven insights
Sales Analysis & Insights
- Analyze POS and category data to uncover trends and performance gaps
- Deliver actionable insights through reports and dashboards
- Partner with data providers (e.g., NielsenIQ, IRI) to ensure accuracy
Presentation & Promotional Strategy
- Co-create sales presentations and promotional materials for key accounts
- Support retail negotiations and promotional planning
- Evaluate campaign performance and recommend improvements
Operational & Administrative Support
- Coordinate buyer meetings and prepare supporting materials
- Maintain sales documentation, contracts, and pricing sheets
- Ensure compliance through accurate and timely portal submissions
Industry Engagement
- Stay current on trends in feminine health, OTC, and retail innovation
- Represent the brand at trade shows and industry events
- Gather field insights to inform go-to-market strategies
What you NEED to SUCCEED in this dynamic role:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

3–5 years of experience in sales or account support roles within consumer packaged goods (CPG).

Experience working with grocery, drug, or mass retailers is highly preferred.

Familiarity with retail media platforms and digital shopper marketing is a strong plus.

Prior experience in OTC, feminine care, or personal care categories is a bonus.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience using NielsenIQ, IRI, or similar retail data tools.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

Willingness to travel up to 30% for meetings, events, and retailer visits.
