CRE Analyst
Our client was founded in 1993 and headquartered in Dallas, TX as a direct lender and mortgage banker specializing in financing for apartment and commercial real estate. They are considered the country’s leading provider of debt and equity financing for commercial and multifamily properties in the $500,000 to $50 million range across all types of properties.
As this company continues to grow, they are currently seeking a dedicated individual to fill the CRE Analyst position at its Dallas office. They are looking for an analyst that has a strong interest in sales and wants to actively learn the origination side of the business. What YOU get to DO at this competitive company:
- Associates work on all aspects of real estate finance from origination, underwriting, loan packaging, financial analysis, loan processing, negotiation, and closing.
- Performing credit and risk assessment of the real estate collateral including property economics and market analysis
- Analyzing the deal package and presenting to lenders, secure term sheets
- Be mentored and directly participate in many of the activities involved with originating commercial real estate loans nationwide.
- Assist with annual credit reviews, monitor loans for problems, and recommend workout and recovery solutions for non-performing or defaulted loans
What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:
- Min of 3+ years experience with closing real estate loans, and experience with all product types including multi-family, retail, office, and NNN transactions
- Ability to communicate effectively with borrowers, loan originators, and underwriting team
- Experience with various types of lenders: commercial banks, credit unions, CMBS, and life insurance companies
- Associates are expected to work hard and have excellent upside potential.
