Operations Finance Manager

Our client is a global, innovation-driven medical technology company focused on delivering clinically differentiated solutions. They are seeking an experienced and operations-focused Operations Finance Manager to join their Footcare Solutions division based in Mequon, Wisconsin. This facility specializes in diabetic foot care and represents one of the company’s smaller but well-established and efficient business units. The ideal candidate will be local or have strong regional ties and be comfortable working fully onsite.
What YOU get to DO at this growing company:

Partner directly with the Director of Operations/Manufacturing to drive cost-saving initiatives.

Lead weekly and monthly operational reporting and analysis.

Develop and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual cost and operations forecasts and budgets.

Support the monthly close process in collaboration with the cost accounting team, including variance analysis.

Ensure compliance with SOX through balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset/capital project tracking.

Act as the key financial liaison among Operations, Business Unit (BU) Finance, and Accounting teams.

Provide financial insights and leadership to manufacturing leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

Drive process improvements and ad-hoc analyses to support business decision-making.
What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

7–10+ years of progressive experience in Accounting and Finance.

Direct experience in a manufacturing environment is required; cost accounting experience is a strong plus.

Demonstrated ability to manage full-cycle budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Effective communicator with the ability to influence across functions.

Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing setting.

Must be able to work onsite full-time in Mequon, Wisconsin (non-negotiable).
