As they continue to grow exponentially, they are looking for an Engineering Technician to aid in the development, manufacturing, and testing processes of the company’s diagnostic medical devices. This role entails collaborating closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to execute diverse technical assignments, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain seamless operations within the engineering department.

What YOU get to DO at this growing company:

  • Collaborate closely with engineers and scientists to assemble, test, and troubleshoot prototype devices and equipment according to standard procedures. 
  • Conduct testing to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements, assisting in equipment setup and maintenance.
  • Support experimentation, manufacturing process optimization, and cross-functional team collaboration to address technical issues and maintain safety standards in the work environment.

What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:

  • Associate’s (2-year) degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an engineering technician or a similar technical role.
  • Strong technical aptitude and hands-on experience with assembling and troubleshooting electronic and mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment, measurement tools, and data acquisition systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
  • Basic understanding of quality control principles and processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with medical device development or manufacturing is a plus.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality management systems (ISO 13485, FDA QSR) is desirable.
